Monday

After an interesting morning in calculus class I decided that it would be better if I went to the gym directly after class rather than a few hours later. I had a lot of frustration to get out, and the gym was the perfect place to be. I finished my lower body workout today along with my back exercises. Really tired after my workout, and I had a little afternoon nap.

This week is going to be filled with good food! I’ve already had a Thanksgiving dinner, and I have one tomorrow, and also on Thanksgiving! I don’t think it’s going to me very hard to eat healthy; by habit I eat less.

Sunday

Friend called up Wednesday to see if I wanted to have a pre Thanksgiving dinner with him and his family. Of course I said yes. I drove up to Folsom Thursday night with a good friend Dean eagerly looking forward to some good cooking. We had a marvelous dinner Friday night. So many happy faces, so many happy tummies. Afterwords we played games and headed off to bed late that night. Woke up early the next morning because I had to be at school at 9:30am for Surveying class, and we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us. Went to class from 9:30am to 4:30pm. Came home and slept.

Today I am studying for my calculus midterm tomorrow. After dinner I am going to go for a quick run. This last week was unusual and I didn’t get to complete my workouts. I hope this week is different.

Weighed in today at 172 Pounds!!!

Tuesday

Got up early this morning for a bike ride in Henry Cowell State Park. The morning air was crisp, and my lungs became popsicles as I pedaled down the street. I was halfway done with my planned outing when I had to turn around and head home. The bike I was riding was a Kona Stinky; a beginner down-hill bike. Riding a full suspension bike up hill after hill is tiresome because a lot of your energy when pedaling is absorbed by the suspension. I became tired rather quickly. My little brother laughed when I told him I tried to ride up Pipeline all the way to the horse show grounds.

Mom’s making BLT sandwiches tonight. That’s right, BACON!!! Well, I can’t eat that stuff anymore so I am going to make a skinless, boneless, and occasionally tasteless, chicken breast.

After dinner I’m going for a quick run. Started up the NOVA Running Workouts again, and so far it feels great to run.

First workout of my NEW plan and it was pretty hard. For the first 2 weeks I am going to only do 1 circuit instead of two. This will allow my body to adjust to the rigors of lifting. Lifting to cardio, back to lifting and back to cardio is a lot of fun, but I was getting some weird looks in the gym. My body hasn’t felt this way in awhile, and it feels great!
